A First Fiesta Birthday!
Master Logan had a great time at his Mexican themed party and his Mummy (AishaNicolePhotography) and I had even more fun decorating it!
BTW if you are ever in need of a photographer for your event or you have newborn or birthing photography then Aisha is your gal; I will link her website here and tell her I sent you.
For this set up we used our vintage doors and replaced the fabric with a Mexican styled pattern. The greenery was added at the top to frame the overall look and in between all of the branches I added little chillies to give it an authentic look. It's very hard to tell and only the foodies picked it up, oh and did I mention that I added these chillies on one by one which was like ahhhhhhh but in the end I think it was worth it as it added a little colour up top.
These doors are not authentically vintage, however, I have white washed them and rubbed the paint back as it was drying to give these doors an authentic vintage look. They did not come with any glass in the diet sections so we will often change the material in the background to suit the theme and I just so happened to have the perfect sale fabric.
That colourful garland was also hand made by Moi! Yes that is hours of ripped up fabric and it is for hire now in our shop. The sombreros are also available from Sitting Pretty Event Hire and I just so happened to have those and the rugs that are on the trestle table from previous events.
Notice those trestle legs? they are from our glass table top and we have three sets of these so there is always plenty to go around. The vases greenery and cake stand are all from our shop and can be located in our rustic range.
Its amazing how versatile our props really are and we can model them to suit any event. Hope you enjoyed the post! till next time!!!
